With few activities, most of them experience a summer that will create an education barrier when they return to the classroom for the fall. The Y BELL Power Scholars Academy at YMCA of Metropolitan Washington offers a program that seeks to solve the achievement gap problem of our youth by providing vigorous academics and STEM activities five days a week for 6-8 weeks each summer.
